Hazelnut Balls

250g Buttercup
130g Icing sugar
1 Egg yolk
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
30g Almond powder
260g Plain flour
80g Corn flour
Hazelnuts (roasted)
Paper cups
Cooking chocolate
White chocolate
1. Mix Buttercup with sugar until the mixture is soft.
2. Then, add in the egg yolk and vanilla and continue mixing.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the plain flour and corn flour.
4. In the Buttercup mixture, add in the almond powder and mixed flour and mix well.
5. Pinch out a marble-sized dough, wrap it around a hazelnut and roll into a ball. Repeat this step with the rest of the dough and arrange the balls on a baking tray.
6. Bake at 160-170°C for 20 minutes or until cooked. Cool the balls.
7. Melt the cooking chocolate by using the double-boiler method and dip the balls in the melted chocolate.
8. Place the coated balls in paper cups.
9. Decorate with white chocolate.
10. Once the chocolate has cooled, store in airtight container.
